The production cost of HD Maps rises sharply with increasing accuracy requirements (black line). However, with the development of artificial intelligence, the production cost of HD Maps is expected to gradually decrease and eventually stabilize (red dashed line).

The HD Maps Research Center, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, is conducting research to reduce production costs by developing automated map production tools.
